Job Title: Digital Press Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Press Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining digital presses to produce high-quality print jobs according to specifications. You will review job tickets, verify materials, and ensure the accuracy of files and finishing requirements before production.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain digital presses to produce print jobs according to specifications.

+ Review job tickets and verify materials, file accuracy, and finishing requirements before production.

+ Set up press for proper color, registration, and paper alignment.

+ Monitor press runs to maintain consistent quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

+ Maintain accurate records of press operations, including run counts, downtime, and maintenance.

+ Inspect finished work for accuracy, color quality, and overall appearance.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience operating digital printing equipment.

+ Proficiency with digital presses such as HP Indigo, Xerox, or similar.

+ Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and file preparation.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications.

+ Experience with precision measuring tools and machine setup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in printing is preferred, but solid machine operators from other industries will be considered.

+ Experience in fabrication is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.
