    Job Title: Production Associate

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate who is capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves working with metal automotive parts, ensuring quality standards are met, and operating within a dynamic setting.

    Responsibilities

    + Lift and handle parts weighing up to 40 lbs every 2-3 minutes.

    + Unload metal automotive parts into the machine and ensure proper clamping.

    + Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.

    + Organize and label parts correctly according to part numbers.

    + Load parts for processing, allowing robots to handle unloading and stacking.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with physical work, including lifting 25-40 lbs frequently.

    + Familiarity with manufacturing processes and machine operation.

    + Ability to perform quality checks and ensure accuracy in labeling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in similar physically demanding jobs such as construction, farming, or landscaping is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The work is conducted in a manufacturing setting that is loud and busy, with metal machining taking place on-site. The facility is well-lit, and tasks involve lifting parts from various heights. Work hours are divided into shifts: Days (8 am - 4 pm), Afternoons (4 pm - 12 am), and Midnights (12 am - 8 am). Expect to work many Saturdays, while Sundays are rarely required but offer double pay.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
