Description
• Clean and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Prepare paint for application.
• Operate hand held spray guns to apply various types of paint.
• Operate portable powder coat equipment.
• Apply primer and other coatings per paint specifications and blueprints.
• Must be able to disassemble and re-assemble paint equipment for cleaning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Fully participate in and support the Metro Fab. Quality System.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA guidelines.
• Wear the proper protective equipment as required.
• Must read and understand paint specifications and blueprints to complete tasks independently.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience as an industrial painter.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing of ladders.
• Knowledge of painting methods preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
