    Job Title: Painter

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Painter ]to join our team, specializing in painting functions for industrial and commercial clients. This role involves working on both new construction and existing buildings, primarily focusing on interior walls, with some exterior painting. Projects are located within a 40-mile radius of Milwaukee. The successful candidate will utilize brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply various paint coatings to industrial and commercial facilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform painting functions for industrial and commercial clients.

    + Use brushes, rollers, and spray guns to apply paint coatings.

    + Specialize in interior wall painting, with some exterior painting.

    + Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming.

    + Operate HPLV Airless Sprayers on large industrial projects.

    + Read and interpret blueprints or specifications.

    + Ensure smooth, even finishes with keen attention to detail.

    + Follow safety procedures and use protective gear appropriately.

    + Coordinate with clients and other contractors.

    + Adapt to unexpected challenges and solve problems on the job.

    Essential Skills

    + Expert knowledge of different painting techniques and materials.

    + Ability to accurately prepare surfaces for painting.

    + Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

    + Strong understanding of safety procedures.

    + Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.

    + Effective time management skills.

    + Physical stamina and dexterity for working on ladders or scaffolding.

    + Good communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3+ years of painting experience.

    + 1+ year of commercial painting experience.

    + Experience with prep work and job site clean-up.

    + Experience with multi-family buildings or office environments.

    Work Environment

     

    Contractors will report to various job sites and work in team environments that vary in size depending on the project. The core hours are day shifts from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with potential overtime and some Saturday work as needed. The dress code is jeans and t-shirt or painter whites. Workers are held to deadlines to ensure projects are completed on time.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $26.00/hr.
