Job Description

The Fab Shop Laborer will work in a dynamic fabrication shop environment. This role involves cutting materials, breaking down products, and moving materials, which include metal framing and glass. Additionally, the laborer will perform general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping floors, scrapping parts, and emptying trash. The position also involves measuring materials, cutting them, loading into machines, and assembling the materials.

Responsibilities

+ Cut and break down materials in the fabrication shop.

+ Move and handle metal framing and glass materials.

+ Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors and emptying trash.

+ Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.

+ Load materials into machines for further processing.

+ Assemble materials as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in construction and general labor.

+ Fabrication and sheet metal skills.

+ Proficiency in using power tools and mechanical equipment.

+ Ability to operate a forklift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in using a tape measure.

+ Experience with forklift/skid steer operation.

+ Skills in machine operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
