Job Title: Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to perform manual material handling duties. This role involves loading raw materials or finished products, delivering materials to assembly lines, conducting cycle counting, and utilizing RF scanners. The position also includes researching inventory errors, picking and packing, restocking the packing area, maintaining housekeeping standards, and loading and unloading dock containers.

Responsibilities

+ Perform material handling duties manually.

+ Load raw materials or finished products.

+ Deliver materials to assembly lines.

+ Conduct cycle counting and utilize RF scanners.

+ Research inventory errors and discrepancies.

+ Pick and pack items for shipment.

+ Restock packing areas as needed.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

+ Load and unload dock containers efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in cycle counting and inventory management.

+ Experience with RF scanners.

+ Basic understanding of material handling procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic computer skills, particularly MS Office.

+ Experience using barcode scanning systems.

+ SAP experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6am to 4:30pm. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses to ensure safety in the workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
