Industrial Controls Technician – 1st Shift

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex blow mold equipment and other high-speed production systems. You will work with conveyor systems, palletizing and strapping equipment, compressors, chillers, and electrical installations to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

This is a hands-on position ideal for a technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate service records

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including:

+ Conveyor systems

+ Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

+ Compressors, chillers, and cooling towers

+ Install and repair electrical wiring, switch boxes, lighting fixtures, and cable assemblies

+ Use electrical testing equipment to assess continuity, voltage, current, and resistance

+ Maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and control systems

+ Read and edit ladder logic; set parameters in VFDs, air compressors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

+ Support and train production staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance

Qualifications

+ Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems

+ Proficient in reading schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical drawings

+ Intermediate knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic

+ Experience with Rockwell Automation (RS Logix 5000/500) and Siemens (TIA Portal, Simatic Manager) preferred

+ Skilled in using shop tools and equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, grinders, presses, etc.)

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in the company’s 401K Employee Saving Plan and may participate in its Employee Wellness Program. Employees will also receive paid time off in accordance with company policy and state law requirements.
