Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform basic repairs and maintenance on a university campus. The role involves troubleshooting and servicing HVAC systems, focusing on compressors, bolts, and motors, as well as changing air filters. This position does not require a license.

Responsibilities

+ Perform basic repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems.

+ Troubleshoot systems to ensure they are operational and determine when to call for additional help.

+ Work primarily on compressors, bolts, and motors.

+ Change air filters as part of preventive maintenance.

+ Assist with various projects as needed across the campus.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in basic troubleshooting and general repairs on HVAC units.

+ Experience in changing filters, performing service, and preventive maintenance.

+ Knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No specific license required.

Work Environment

The role is based on a university campus with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7am to 3:30pm. The work environment is customer-facing, requiring professionalism and a presentable demeanor. When not engaged in HVAC-specific tasks, you may be asked to assist with other projects across the campus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
