Job Title: Production Operators
Job Description
The role of a Production Operator involves working on a day shift from 4:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday, primarily for training purposes. Operators are responsible for performing start-up and shut-down procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring efficient operation of the production line. The job demands multitasking, effective use of industrial equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
+ Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for the assigned production line area.
+ Operate the production line effectively, safely, and efficiently as instructed.
+ Complete reports and respond to inquiries as needed.
+ Maintain cleanliness of the production line area.
+ Multitask with changing priorities and deadlines as directed by the Supervisor.
+ Effectively use industrial equipment, hand, pneumatic, and electric tools.
+ Perform quick, efficient, and safe changeovers.
+ Assist with scrap breakdown as directed.
+ Comply with all company policies and procedures.
+ Perform other duties as assigned or directed by the Supervisor.
Essential Skills
+ Two years of experience as a machine or production operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Strong mathematical skills with proficiency in metric measurements and accurate use of a tape measure.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, including weekends as necessary.
+ Capability to sit and stand for extended periods and perform various physical movements.
+ Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with extreme temperatures, noise, and dust.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Effective verbal communication skills in English.
+ Basic proficiency in MS Excel and effective computer use.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ Prior forklift experience is a plus.
+ Mechanical aptitude, assembly, carpentry skills.
+ Experience with machine operation, packaging, inspection, saw operation, and saw cutting.

Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant with extreme temperatures, noise, and dust. Operators must be comfortable with extended periods of standing and physical activity. The role involves using various tools and equipment, and the dress code requires appropriate safety attire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.56 - $20.56/hr.
