Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, with preferred experience in drywall installation and steel stud framing. This is a full-time position offering consistent work and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

+ Install steel stud framing for walls, ceilings, and partitions according to specifications

+ Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels to precise dimensions

+ Tape, mud, and finish drywall surfaces to a high standard

+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans

+ Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment

+ Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

+ Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience, with emphasis on drywall and steel stud framing

+ Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment

+ Ability to read and understand construction drawings

+ Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

+ Reliable transportation and punctuality

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ OSHA certification or willingness to obtain is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
