    Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    Responsibilities

    + Install and maintain low voltage systems, including phone, fire alarm, camera, and card access systems.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage electrical systems.

    + Work with Alcatel-Lucent Phone Systems and other phone systems.

    + Perform data cable pulling, including cat5, cat6, and fiber optic cables.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for installation purposes.

    + Utilize hand tools effectively for low voltage installations.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of experience as a phone technician and/or in audio-visual roles.

    + Proficiency with Alcatel-Lucent Phone Systems.

    + Experience with fire alarm, camera, phone, and card access systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with various phone systems and alarm installations.

    + Ability to work with data cables, including cat5, cat6, and fiber optic.

    + Capability to interpret and work from blueprints.

    + Strong understanding of low voltage systems and electrical principles.

    This is a Contract position based out of Williamsburg, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
