Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
As a CNC Mill Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and machining parts using work orders, blueprints, materials, and specifications. You will interpret job instructions, including CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists, job routing, part drawings, and in-process quality instructions. Your role involves locating appropriate tool holders, tools, and fixtures, loading them into the machine, and ensuring proper lubrication and cooling of work pieces. You will run CNC programs, take measurements, make necessary adjustments, and inspect pieces for conformance to specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and machine parts using work orders, blueprints, materials, and specifications.
+ Interpret job instructions, including CNC programs, setup sheets, tool lists, job routing, part drawings, and in-process quality instructions.
+ Locate and load appropriate tool holders, tools, and fixtures into the machine.
+ Load CNC programs into the machine control, including zero and reference points, and enter tool length and offsets.
+ Ensure work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled.
+ Run CNC programs, take measurements, and make necessary adjustments to produce finished parts.
+ Inspect the first run piece and check succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications.
+ Maintain cleanliness according to 5S standards.
+ Follow all company safety rules.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with CNC mill machines, including DMU 50 and DMU 65.
+ Experience with multi-position/contour machining of parts, assemblies, and tooling composed of various materials such as stainless steel and aluminum.
+ Ability to set up and run multiple axis machines like DMU50, DMU65, and HAAS VF’s.
+ Familiarity with Siemens control and Haas mill and vertical machines.
+ Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.
+ Knowledge of a variety of cutting tools.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as work orders.
+ Skill in shop math.
+ Competence in using standard measuring tools (i.e. micrometers, calipers, and gauges).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong focus on automation, including loading, unloading, checking parts, and following production schedules.
+ Maintaining quality and safety standards to meet company benchmarks.

Work Environment
Standard machine shop environment with a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
