Job Title: Electronic Assembly Technician
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Electronic Assembly Technician where you will play a critical role in assembling high-quality products. This position requires precision and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all components are assembled according to established quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
+ Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.
+ Utilize hand tools to install components and ensure components are received from the prep department.
+ Use tools such as screwdrivers and pliers as needed.
+ Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
+ Conduct quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in electronic assembly.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools.
+ Experience in machine operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior experience in production machinery or machine operation is preferred.
+ Experience in electronics and mechanical assembly.
+ Ability to accurately read and interpret show layouts.
+ Capability to work within a small range of motions due to the soldering requirements.

Work Environment
You will report to the Director of Manufacturing and work in the production department. The dress code includes jeans, steel toe boots, and a polo shirt. We have openings for both first and second shifts, with this position being for the second shift from 5 PM to 1:30 AM. Training for the second shift will occur during the first shift hours. Please note that this role requires standing for over 8 hours per day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
