Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
**Location:** Green Cove Springs
**Schedule:** 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
**Pay:** $25–$33/hour (based on experience)
**Employment Type:** Full-time
We are hiring skilled and mechanically inclined technicians to join our growing team! If you enjoy working hands-on with heavy equipment, traveling to different job sites, and being part of a team that keeps foundational rigs running strong — this is the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
+ Perform service, repair, and preventative maintenance on foundational rigs and heavy equipment both in the shop and out in the field.
+ Assemble and set up equipment, including training contractors on proper operation and safety procedures.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
+ Conduct routine inspections and repairs on returned rental equipment to ensure readiness for the next deployment.
+ Work on a variety of systems including diesel hammers, vibratory hammers, hydraulic drop hammers, and power packs.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel engines.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
+ Skilled in preventive maintenance, assembly, and component replacement (motors, filters, cylinders, etc.).
+ Comfortable using tools up to ¾” drive and wrenches up to 2”; specialty tools provided.
+ Welding experience and multimeter use are a plus.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn — training is available!

+ Small rotary motor units
+ Hydraulic top drive units

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
