About the Role
We’re seeking skilled and dedicated Marine Welders to support critical welding operations on U.S. Navy submarines in beautiful Honolulu. This is a hands-on, mission-driven role where precision, safety, and craftsmanship are paramount. Key Responsibilities
+ Perform structural and pipe welding on submarine hulls and internal systems
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures
+ Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders
+ Conduct inspections and ensure welds meet Navy and industry standards
+ Work in confined spaces and adhere to strict safety protocols
+ Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams
Qualifications
+ Proven experience in marine or industrial welding (submarine or shipyard experience a plus)
+ Proficiency in various welding techniques and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.)
+ Ability to pass weld certification tests (NAVSEA standards preferred)
+ Comfortable working in tight quarters and variable conditions
+ U.S. Citizenship required
+ Active or previous Secret Clearance highly preferred
Preferred Experience
+ Transitioning military personnel with welding or shipfitting experience
+ Prior work in Navy shipyards or submarine maintenance
+ Familiarity with military protocols and standards

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
