Job Title: Cook

Job Description

Join our team as a Cook, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves a rotating schedule over two weeks, with shifts from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. In this position, you will be responsible for all steps of food preparation and cooking, utilizing both grills and ovens for large-scale food production.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and cook food using grills and ovens for large-scale production.

+ Perform dishwashing and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

+ Conduct tray preparation and ensure timely delivery to rooms.

+ Manage buffet-style and walk-up counter services in the café.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of cooking experience in high-volume locations such as hospitals, corporate kitchens, or universities.

+ Proficiency in food service and food preparation.

+ ServSafe certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Good team player with excellent communication skills.

+ Experience working in a kitchen environment.

+ Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windham, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
