Solar Technician - Operations & Maintenance

Are you ready to power the future? Join our Operations & Maintenance team and take ownership of solar farm performance. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and optimize solar PV systems, respond to emergencies, and drive improvements in a collaborative, safety-first culture. Operate mobile equipment, support site operations, and adapt to evolving schedules—including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Do:

+ Diagnose and resolve electrical/mechanical issues on solar equipment

+ Ensure safety compliance and complete required documentation

+ Monitor contractors and support site operations

+ Respond rapidly to abnormal conditions and emergencies

+ Use digital tools for reporting and communication

+ Professionally represent company with vendors and community partners

What You Bring:

+ High School diploma, preferred

+ NABCEP Certification or Electrical License, a plus

+ 2+ years as maintenance electrician or 4+ years as multi-craft technician, or 2+ years in power generation O&M (solar experience required)

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in extreme weather, travel as needed

+ First aid/CPR/AED, OSHA certified

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
