Job Title: 1st & 3rd shift Entry Level Manufacturing Assistant $20-$26/HR

Job Description

This is an entry-level position within the manufacturing sector that involves assisting with production and shipping department duties. The role requires operating a forklift or bobcat after receiving appropriate training. Candidates must be capable of standing, walking, and lifting for 12 hours a day. Responsibilities include general painting throughout the facility and learning to operate machinery to support the production process. While previous production or manufacturing experience is advantageous, we are willing to train on all openings.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with production and shipping department duties.

+ Operate forklift or bobcat after training.

+ Stand, walk, and lift for up to 12 hours a day.

+ Perform general painting throughout the facility.

+ Learn to operate machinery to support production processes.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule.

+ Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Willingness to train on multiple parts of machinery.

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ Good communication skills.

+ Time management and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in construction, concrete, landscaping, or general production is a plus.

+ Previous production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a 12-hour rotating schedule, requiring availability for both first and third shifts. The schedule consists of working from 7 am to 7 pm for 7 days followed by 4 days off, then switching to 7 pm to 7 am for 7 days. Overtime may be necessary. The position involves physical activity such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.69 - $20.69/hr.
