Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production and test equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and practices. You will maintain accurate production and equipment operation records, perform tests and measurements to ensure product quality, and interface with quality assurance. Additionally, you will assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, inspect production equipment, and support corporate values. The role involves handling hazardous materials and ensuring their safe transport, as well as operating basic hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
+ Operate production and test equipment.
+ Monitor and recommend improvements to the area as needed.
+ Comply with company and area safety policies and practices.
+ Maintain accurate production records and equipment operation records.
+ Perform tests and measurements on parts to ensure product quality.
+ Interface with quality assurance to ensure product quality.
+ Assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, supplies, and parts.
+ Inspect production equipment daily.
+ Support and foster active participation in corporate values and comply with the Management Systems.
+ Handle hazardous materials and samples.
+ Ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and gas cylinders.
+ Operate basic hand and power tools.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in machine operation, injection molding, assembly, and stamping.
+ Knowledge in quality control and production line processes.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform general labor tasks.
+ Familiarity with the metric system.
+ Proficiency in using computers and touch screen devices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in production or a combination of relevant skills.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean and automated production facility. Stamping and molding roles are more independent, whereas plating and assembly roles are team-focused.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.62 - $19.62/hr.
