    Job Title: Production Operator

    Job Description

    Join a dedicated team as a Production Operator, working in a facility that plays a crucial role in creating Tesla car batteries. The role involves working within a temperature-controlled environment to ensure optimal conditions for mixing liquids and other materials.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload barrels and boxes of materials and store them in the warehouse section of the facility.

    + Separate and move materials that need to be mixed and activated to create liquid material for batteries.

    + Work in production, filling, and batch areas to accurately measure, pour, and fill barrels and drums for shipment.

    + Operate machines to move products through each station using pre-programmed settings.

    + Assist with the cleanup of hazardous chemicals in case of spills.

    + Receive training on making corrections if a machine breaks down.

    Essential Skills

    + Understanding and use of FIFO (First In, First Out), hazardous chemical operations, computer operating systems, and safe handling practices.

    + Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Documentation Practices), sampling procedures and tools, decontamination and contamination prevention practices, and safe work practices.

    + Ability to work in proximity to active electromagnets.

    + Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver at least 40 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must be able to travel up and down stairs, in and out of containment areas, and in narrow aisles.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Sacramento, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
