Job Description
Dining Associates work on assigned units in healthcare facilities and are dedicated to creating a culture of comfort and compassion in the healthcare environment. The Dining Associate assists patients with menu selections, assembles, delivers, and picks up meal trays. They respond to any special requests regarding nutritional needs and ensure meals are accurate and delivered at the correct time. They help patients understand menu selections, manage tray tickets, and assemble meals according to the patient's menu selections.
Responsibilities

+ Ensure meals are accurate and delivered on time.
+ Help patients understand menu selections.
+ Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to patient's menu selections.
Essential Skills
+ Strong verbal communication skills.
+ Capacity to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to patients, families, and associates.
+ Ability to utilize computers and tablets.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Foodservice experience.
+ Customer service skills.
+ Experience interacting with hospital staff and patients.

Work Environment
Candidates will be working inside a hospital environment, navigating between various units/floors and the kitchen area. The work setting is clean and climate-controlled. The dress code requires no jewelry or fake nails, hair nets, beard nets, black pants (no jeans), a black shirt (polo or collared), and black non-slip shoes. Work hours vary between 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with 12-hour shifts and half a shift on the third day, including every other weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clemmons, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
