Position Overview
Our established, patient-centered Sleep Medicine Practice is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sleep disorders, respiratory health, and chronic disease management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Conduct comprehensive sleep medicine evaluations, including detailed patient histories, physical exams, and interpretation of sleep-related data (polysomnography, home sleep apnea testing, PAP compliance reports, etc.)
•Diagnose and manage common sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, REM and non REM parasomnias and circadian rhythm disorders
•Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with board-certified sleep physician
•Manage PAP therapy initiation, adherence follow-up, and troubleshooting
•Provide patient education on sleep hygiene, PAP device use, and behavioral sleep strategies
•Coordinate care with referring physicians, primary care providers, and other specialists
•Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing clinical education
Qualifications
•Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing
•Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in sleep medicine
•Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
•Excellent communication, organization, and patient education skills
•Interest in long-term patient relationships and chronic disease management
