Schwab’s AI Strategy & Transformation team, known as AI.x, is the central hub for Artificial Intelligence at Schwab. We are an integrated product, engineering, strategy and risk team, all based in San Francisco. We help set the enterprise vision for AI, invest in the most promising opportunities, and accelerate delivery across the company. We also build the core platform that powers AI at scale and explore next-generation GenAI efforts that will redefine how we serve our clients.
As the Senior Manager, AI Pipeline Management & Business Enablement, you play a key role in ensuring Schwab’s AI initiatives are scaled effectively and aligned with business objectives. Reporting to the Director of AI Product Management, this role focuses on leading cross-functional coordination, supporting the operationalization of AI strategies, and enabling adoption across the firm. The ideal candidate combines technical fluency with strategic business acumen to help advance Schwab’s AI capabilities.
What You’ll Do
_AI Pipeline Management_
+ Track and report on the status of AI initiatives across the organization, ensuring transparency for leadership and stakeholders.
+ Prioritize pipeline items based on strategic goals, resource availability, and business impact.
+ Maintain a central resource for educating employees on AI trends and initiatives.
+ Coordinate and organize activities across Schwab to support AI capabilities, tools, and solutions.
_AI Business Enablement_
+ Create frameworks that provide clarity and transparency for AI initiatives across the organization.
+ Define strategies and process improvements to scale AI adoption while aligning with business goals.
+ Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities, pain points, and AI-driven solutions.
+ Present recommendations and updates to senior leadership to drive momentum for AI initiatives.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure ROI, success metrics, and alignment with business objectives for AI projects.
What you have
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Analytics, Data Science, AI) or equivalent experience.
+ 7+ years of experience in technology, data, or analytics roles, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or project management capacity.
+ 3+ years of experience driving AI/ML strategies in business environments, aligning technical efforts with strategic goals.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and related technologies.
+ Strong data analysis skills in Tableau, PowerBI or similar data
+ Strong collaboration skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
+ Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
