Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac MRI Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our Cardiac MRI imaging department. In this pivotal role, you will ensure smooth workflow, optimal patient care, and efficient use of resources. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with cardiologists, imaging staff, and researchers while driving innovation in cardiac MRI technology.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
+ Operational Leadership: Manage the daily operations of the Cardiac MRI department, collaborating with leadership to ensure workflow efficiency and high-quality patient care.
+ Scheduling Coordination: Work with the central scheduling team to optimize appointment booking and manage patient flow.
+ Clinical Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries about contrast agents and implantable devices, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
+ Clinical Support: Assist cardiologists with case readings, image analysis, and protocol development, contributing to clinical decision-making.
+ Team Leadership: Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, providing support and development opportunities for team members.
+ Hands-on Support: Step in as needed to perform scans during staffing shortages, maintaining departmental efficiency and continuity of care.
+ Research Collaboration: Work with Siemens researchers to support the testing and development of advanced cardiac MRI sequences.
+ Equipment & IT Management: Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensure IT systems run smoothly for clinical and administrative needs.
+ Education & Training: Lead educational sessions for fellows, focusing on advanced cardiac MRI techniques and interpretation.
+ Quality Assurance: Monitor and train staff across multiple locations to maintain high standards and best practices in cardiac MRI.
+ Protocol Development: Keep cardiac MRI protocols up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and clinical guidelines.
+ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the department maintains ACR accreditation and adheres to all regulatory standards.
+ Resource Optimization: Support marketing efforts and analyze case volume to optimize resources and improve patient throughput.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or related field (Master's preferred).
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cardiac MRI or imaging management.
+ Proven leadership skills with a track record of team management and professional development.
+ Expertise in cardiac MRI imaging and protocols, with a strong understanding of clinical applications.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ ACR accreditation experience and knowledge of regulatory standards.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, staff, and external partners.
