NOTE: This Role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite at our Walnut Creek corporate office.
Job Summary
Our Engineer III/JAMF Engineering serves as a key technical liaison between the business and engineering teams and may be assigned to any of the major technical areas
Essential Functions
+ Management of JAMF MDM for both MacOS and iOS devices
+ Creation of system documentation for software development and quality assurance processes.
+ Business intelligence analysis and reporting.
+ Configuration management and management of technical projects.
+ Engineering methodologies, processes and procedures.
+ Builds relationships across the organization and with external partners.
+ Collaborates with the IT engineering team, the IT operations team and internal clients to create new functionality, and to troubleshoot and resolve reported problems.
+ Manages vendor relationships and mentors other engineers.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
+ 5 years minimum experience with Jamf Pro
+ Experience extending Jamf Pro with community tools
+ Demonstrable proficiency with command line and scripting with common automation languages (e.g., bash, Python, etc).Seeks ongoing improvements to the organization’s processes and procedures.
+ Expert-level skills with endpoint management and Jamf Pro. Other MDMs are a plus, including Intune.
+ Expert-level skills around Zero touch workflows and automated patching of macOS and 3rd party apps.
+ 5 years of in-depth field experience deploying and supporting mixed Mac/PC environments.
+ Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPNs, and zero trust VPNs.
+ Experience with identity and access management systems (e.g.,Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace directory)
+ Minimum 5 years of professional macOS/iOS support experience in an enterprise environment.
+ Expert-level skills supporting Apple technologies in an enterprise environment, including VPP, ABM, identity management, single sign-on, share access, hosted services, and endpoint security best practices.
+ Cross-platform integration expertise with Jamf Connect
+ Environment and infrastructure experience for Apple platform optimization in an enterprise environment.
+ Deployment experience at scale with Mac and iOS devices
+ Prioritizes daily tasks to ensure that emerging, urgent issues are resolved without losing sight of longer-term projects.
+ Sets standards, timelines, priorities and approaches to help the team complete and deliver assignments on time.
+ Takes advantage of available resources to complete work efficiently; coordinates with internal and external partners.
+ Allocates appropriate amounts of time for completing one’s own and others’ work; develops timelines and milestones.
+ Demonstrates effective techniques in holding meetings, planning time, setting priorities, setting timelines and deadlines, and making effective use of time.
+ Performs independently; informs managers or senior leaders of projects’ progress and issues encountered; recommends solutions.
+ Oversees project completion of less experienced team members; provides guidance to senior level team members on highly complex assignments or projects with a major impact.
Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification
+ Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
+ 5 years applied technical experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
+ Possess current Agile Certification.
+ Experience using Agile-based methodologies (such as Extreme Programming and Scrum) within a software development function.

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $129,234.00 - Mid: $161,542.00- Max: $193,849.00
