    About the Role

     

    We are  looking for an Enterprise Account Manager with specifically Government Sales experience ( mandatory ) to join as the sales hire at Stralynn. You'll work directly with the CEO and founding team to expand our customer base, shape our sales playbook, and close high-value consulting engagements with senior executives in financial and technology enterprises. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives in complex sales environments and wants to help build the next standout digital consulting firm. US / Permanent resident is required.

     

    This position is not entirely remote. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of Brentwood or nearby cities in Tennessee to be considered.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to close — for Government agencies( Federal and State) IT consulting and transformation deals ($150K–$3 MM ACV)

    + Generate and qualify pipeline using your public sector selling experience and subject matter expertise

    + Handling Requests for Proposal (RFP): Engage with government agencies on RFP and bidding processes, navigating procurement and evaluation processes

    + Manage government RFPs, bids, and procurement.

    + Collaborate with the CEO to sharpen messaging, iterate playbooks, and establish scalable sales motion

    + Deepen relationships and interact with related ecosystem leaders to cultivate a deep understanding of Stralynn's offerings and how Stralynn can create value.

    + Develop and manage territory and account management plans that outline strategy and resources as well as track progress, resulting in successful market penetration

    + Partner with delivery and ops to ensure seamless handoffs and measurable client outcomes

    + Track and improve metrics around win rates, velocity, and top-of-funnel activity

    + Contribute to early revenue forecasting, CRM processes, and sales tooling decisions

     

    Who You Are

     

    + 3+ years of Government sales experience, ideally in IT consulting or digital transformation services

    + Experienced track record in taking up revenue targets and deal closure.

    + Strong closer with a track record of sourcing and closing high-ACV deals ($100K+)

    + Knowledge and connections in government sales

    + Skilled at leveraging partner-led sales motions and navigating complex buying groups

    + Entrepreneurial and structured- thrives in fast-moving environments with minimal oversight

    + Excellent communicator and strategic relationship builder

     

    Preferred (Not Required)

     

    + Experience at Government consulting/services firm

    + Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools

    + Experience working with global or cross-border delivery teams
