             Job Title: Payroll Coordinator IIJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Payroll Coordinator II to join our dynamic team. The role involves supporting payroll specialists, managing payroll inquiries, and executing payroll processes for a multi-company, multi-state environment. The successful candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including data entry, check issuance, and timecard corrections using ADP systems. Responsibilities + Execute day-to-day payroll activities and manage biweekly payroll processes for hourly and salaried employees across multiple companies and states. + Perform data entries, data loads, generate off-cycle checks, and conduct data auditing to ensure accuracy. + Assist employees and other contacts with low to medium complexity inquiries using the ITSM tool, and escalate complex issues to senior team members. + Adhere to standard operating procedures for routine tasks, identify errors during processes, and escalate issues to ensure timely completion. + Interpret and resolve issues using established Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Articles, and edit existing articles as needed. + Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and risk mitigation by validating data requests, securing data sources, and reporting any potential breaches immediately. Essential Skills + 2-3+ years of payroll experience, including payroll administration or processing. + Experience with multi-state payroll, preferably including the most nuanced regions such as California. + Proficiency in ADP systems, with WFN preferred, but Vantage acceptable. + Experience with timekeeping software such as Ukg/Kronos. + Strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with processing payroll for a large workforce is beneficial, although not required for high-volume operations. + Adaptability to handle the peak season workload effectively. + Ability to work in a sociable and high-traffic office setting while maintaining focus. Work Environment This is a hybrid role with in-office work required from Tuesday to Thursday. The work hours are flexible, typically starting from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position is based in a cubicle setting alongside four other team members. The team enjoys a fun and engaging atmosphere with big personalities and frequent celebrations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portland, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
