Job Title: Program Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Program Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to supporting various departments including Program Management, Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations. The successful candidate will be involved in proposal submissions and program execution, providing crucial support to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
+ Support Program Management, Contracts, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations in proposal submission and program execution.
+ Prepare and compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with RFP specifications.
+ Generate files for and support contract negotiations, and generate funding estimates/ROMs based on ENG, PM, SCM inputs.
+ Track and report actual results, and identify and resolve issues during execution of program requirements.
+ Support contracting actions, prepare monthly status reports, track invoices, and research problems with billing/payment.
+ Assist with generation/submission of deliverables, review contracts/modifications before acceptance, and generate contract closeout documentation.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Contracts, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
+ Three or more years of work experience in a related field.
+ Proficiency with Excel (Pivot tables/VLOOKUP) and Word.
+ Experience with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS), and Basis of Estimate (BOE).
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to research problems independently.
+ U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in MS Project is strongly preferred.
+ Experience as a program support contributor in a defense contractor for two years.
+ Junior officer military experience.
+ Working knowledge of FARs/DFAR/ITAR and other related regulations.
+ Experience working with DCAA and DCM.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility on start and finish times. This position is currently onsite, but remote or hybrid options can be discussed if needed. The work environment is environmentally controlled, with computer work 2-6 hours per day. Our culture is casual, flexible, and entrepreneurial, fostering innovation and hands-on problem-solving.

This is a Contract position based out of Des Plaines, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
