As a Solution Expert, you will ensure seamless integration of change initiatives through fostering collaboration and driving continual improvement. You will serve as a pivotal role in guiding the organization through transformation, enhancing both resilience and growth.

    HOW A SOLUTION EXPERT WILL MAKE AND IMPACT:

    + CITS-level Agile Solutions Architect

    + Lead Agile adoption efforts during launch and transition periods of projects, including introduction of new technologies, processes, or team structures.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, management, IT team) to gather, define, and document business requirements for IT systems and applications.

    + Collaborate with program managers to align adoption activities with CITS program strategies, ensuring seamless integration of changes.

    + Conduct impact assessments to understand how changes will affect operations; develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.

    + Serves as a catalyst in both technical and people leadership aspects of the job to harmonize the inputs of the team into a common change approach.

    + Proactively identifies and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals.

    + Agile Solutions Architect for IT Service Management

    + Lead Agile adoption efforts during launch and transition periods of projects, including introduction of new technologies, processes, or team structures.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, management, IT team) to gather, define, and document business requirements for IT systems and applications.

    + Conduct impact assessments to understand how changes will affect operations; develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.

    + Collaborate with program managers to align adoption activities with CITS program strategies, ensuring seamless integration of changes.

    + Serves as a catalyst in both technical and people leadership aspects of the job to harmonize the inputs of the team into a common change approach.

    + Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

    + Proactively involve stakeholders in new initiatives, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed through the change process.

    + Create communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged during change adoption, ensuring transparency and buy-in.

    + Foster strong stakeholder relationships, serving as trusted advisor during times of change.

    + Establish continual feedback mechanisms with stakeholders to capture insights and adjust adoption strategies as needed.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Sr Manager must have:

     

    + **Education:** Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Technical Communications, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience

    + **Experience:** 5+ years of experience as a requirements analyst, project manager

    + **Technical skills:**

    + Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills that enable innovative design and technical thought leadership in a rapidly evolving business environment.

    + Presentation skills for face-to-face meetings with clients or potential clients.

    + Ability to support Scrum meetings, sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.

    + Ability to track requirements statuses throughout using the Kanban boards.

    + Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with stakeholders to define application requirements.

    + Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, and workflow analysis.

    + Document user stories, acceptance criteria and perform product backlog grooming.

    + Design wireframes, business process workflows, user guide, and business requirement documentation.

    + Knowledge of ITSM project management; specifically, it’s Scrum methodology.

    + Ability to support quality assurance creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios then documenting test results.

    + Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner across functional and technical teams (developers, partners, and executives) with confidence.

    + Possess excellent skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, change management, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

    + Familiarity with ADO version control tool, SharePoint, ITSM, Microsoft Office tools, and the Power Platform.

    + Direct Azure DevOps work experience (1+ year) and a deep understanding of the strengths of different Agile approaches and when they should be used, such as Scrum and Kanban.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment where each day provides a new set of challenges under time constraints involving complex network configuration and requirements.

    + Understanding of U.S. Department of Defense security requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures.

    + **Security clearance level** : Secret Clearance required (must be able to attain TS/SCI)

    The likely salary range for this position is $115,175 - $155,825. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
