Sr. Payroll Manager

We're looking for a Senior Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and confidential processing across all associate groups, including executive leadership. This role is responsible for developing internal controls, driving process improvements, and aligning payroll functions with organizational strategy.
_This role is 100% remote._
+ Overseepayroll and time & attendance system enhancements to improve accuracy,efficiency, scalability, and user experience
+ Identify and implement innovative solutions that modernize payroll operations,automate workflows, and improve reporting and compliance capabilities
+ Interpret and apply federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations,ensuring ongoing compliance and alignment with policy
+ Monitor and communicate legislative changes; coordinate updates to policiesand procedures accordingly.
+ Maintain audit readiness and proper documentation across all payrollfunctions, including tax reporting and filings
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, and business units toaddress payroll-related issues and implement improvements.
+ Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring SLA compliance andidentifying opportunities for service optimization and cost reduction.
+ Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or ademonstrated equivalent level of experience
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in payroll management, with at least 5years in a leadership role
+ Extensive knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, tax laws, andcompliance requirements, including federal, state, and local payrolllegislation
+ Experience handling executive compensation and confidential payroll processingwith discretion and professionalism.
+ Experience organizations with over 15,000+ employees
+ Strong proficiency with UKG Payroll software (5+ years) is required
+ In-depth knowledge of payroll practices, tax regulations, garnishment andcompliance requirements.
+ Demonstrated success leading payroll transformation initiatives, includingprocess redesign, system implementations (Workday preferred), and automationefforts.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret payroll data, identifytrends, and drive strategic improvements.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record ofeffectively partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and Senior Leadership.
+ Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to balance multiplepriorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
+ Pay Range: $ 50-70/hr. DOE.
