    Wells Fargo is seeking an innovative and accomplished Data Science Director to serve as Head of Branch Analytics within our Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) division.     In this role, you will:

    + **Lead all aspects of branch analytics** in alignment with Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB) priorities, focusing on customer growth, retention, satisfaction, and operational excellence.

    + **Enable strategic workforce initiatives** , including staffing level optimization, scenario modeling, and resource allocation, to enhance efficiency and elevate customer experience across the national branch network.

    + **Translate complex analytics into executive-level insights** , crafting compelling narratives and presentations for senior stakeholders—including the Head of Branch Strategy, Head of National Branch Banking, and CEO of CSBB—to influence strategic direction and investment decisions.

    + **Deliver advanced analytics solutions** —including predictive modeling, machine learning, segmentation, and optimization— in partnership with the AI/ML team to address key challenges in branch performance, staffing, workforce management, and customer engagement.

    + **Lead and grow a high-impact team** of data scientists, analysts, and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.

    + **Partner cross-functionally** with technology, product, and operations teams to embed analytics into core platforms and business processes, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.

    + **Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)** for branch operations, leveraging data visualization and storytelling to communicate insights across diverse audiences.

    + **Champion data governance and ethical data use** , ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

    + **Stay ahead of industry trends** , emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and financial services, with a focus on branch analytics, workforce management, and customer experience.

    + **Exceptional communication and storytelling skills** , with a proven ability to translate complex data into strategic insights for executive audiences, including C-level stakeholders and national branch leadership.

    + **Comprehensive understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks** (e.g., CCAR, CCPA) relevant to consumer and small business banking

    Pay Range

     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

     

    $185,000.00 - $300,000.00
