Job Summary:
The Expeditionary Systems Logistics Analyst provides logistics, inventory control, shipment coordination, and material management support for the MK 18 Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) program. Responsibilities include coordinating all material movements across MK 18 Test and Evaluation (T&E) labs and Fleet assets, ensuring compliance with commercial and Department of Defense (DoD) logistics standards, and supporting the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) with accurate and timely reporting. The role also manages Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) readiness, certification tracking, and Navy training requirements to maintain safe and compliant operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Logistics and Inventory Management
+ Coordinate all outbound shipments including documentation, approvals, packaging, and transportation scheduling
+ Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming materials to assigned end-users
+ Maintain accurate inventory accountability for ICP and T&E assets
+ Generate and submit monthly logistics and inventory reports to ISEA
+ Track inventory expenditures and support financial accountability for program operations
+ Maintain appropriate stock levels of shipping and packing materials
+ Sustain and update MK 18 shipment dashboards and trackers
+ Maintain shipping records including DD-1149s, packing lists, and related documentation
Material Handling and Compliance
+ Manage replacement and replenishment parts issued to Fleet and T&E units per ISEA direction
+ Process disposal and excess materials in compliance with Navy property and equipment requirements
+ Support Hazardous Waste handling in accordance with regulatory guidance
+ Maintain MK 18 work truck readiness including scheduled servicing coordination
+ Conduct lifecycle oversight for all program WHE including certifications, recordkeeping, and recertification scheduling
+ Manage WHE checkout and control logs for all T&E labs
Program and Stakeholder Support
+ Communicate shipment status and logistics priorities to program leadership
+ Participate in program-wide meetings, typically conducted quarterly
+ Ensure completion and documentation of all required Navy and site training
+ Maintain eligibility to perform duties under Secret clearance requirements
Qualifications:
Required
+ 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, material management, or related discipline
+ Knowledge of DoD and commercial logistics standards
+ Proficiency using business software tools and inventory tracking systems
+ Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with stakeholders at all levels
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in an industrial logistics environment
+ High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and recordkeeping
Preferred
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
+ Certifications: Forklift, Navy Category 3 Crane, and Transportation Safety Institute HAZMAT (or ability to obtain and maintain)
