    Title Senior Analyst IT Business Systems- Atlanta, GA

    The opportunity:

    The Sr. IT Analyst, Corrugated Container IT, will play an important role as a member of the Smurfit Westrock IT team supporting and collaborating with the business and other project teams, to ensure overall Data Quality, Standardization and Governance of our Inhouse programs and tools. The job will focus on solution-level decisions and analysis of their impact on the overall business goals and outcomes. The role will serve as the subject matter expert supporting multiple disciplines of Corrugated Applications, solutions design, implementations and Support. Other key activities will be to identify gaps in product governance, enhancements, fixes, understanding, and education of product use.

    How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:

    * This Role is a primary contributor to the Corrugated IT team.

    * Partner with Business Process Specialist and Owners to guide the plant to the standard model or elevate identified gaps through the governance structure.

    * Daily activities include ongoing communications, updates and progress reports.

    * Understand and assist where required to provide clear guidance on plant requirements to the implementation teams related to managed products.

    * Maintain and continuously enhance the standard process and master data template by ensuring collaboration between the team and all key business/enterprise stakeholders, IT resources, and external vendors.

    * Building strong and trusted partnerships with Business Process Owners/Specialists, ensuring alignment on a standard template and clear governance on enhancement requirements.

    * Work closely with our business stakeholders, managers and developers to define, prioritize, and deliver features for our in-house applications and tools.

    * Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.

    * Responsible for gathering and analyzing user feedback, analyzing user stories and acceptance criteria, and understanding the testing, functionality and usability of our products.

    * Participate in the design and implementation of an interim and ongoing data governance process.

    * Proactively identify opportunities within current and upcoming technologies / software released to enhance the user experience, process efficiency, and develop the application stack.

    * Manage system evaluation, build, and release validation processes, ensuring that appropriate testing, documentation, and training materials are updated and delivered.

    * Assist in creation and maintenance of critical business documents.

    * Maintain, Support, and Configure essential integration paths between business applications.

    What you need to succeed:

    * Experience with operating a mission-critical application in a manufacturing environment. The candidate must work well in a team, adapt to multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and maintain a professional demeanor.

    * Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and organize tasks efficiently.

    * Proficiency in business process analysis, systems design, and analysis.

    * Skilled in developing documentation, training materials, and instructional content.

    * Strong communication abilities, capable of relating technical solutions to business needs and expressing ideas clearly.

    * Adequate IT and process knowledge to gain credibility with users and discuss complex issues in business terms.

    * Capacity to collaborate effectively in a matrixed, cooperative IT environment.

    * Ability to solve time-sensitive support issues independently through data analysis, code review, and troubleshooting/testing skills.

    * Effective collaboration with end-users and management to understand needs and prioritize tasks.

    * Competence in managing expectations and handling challenging situations.

    * Organizational and planning skills to achieve goals and meet deadlines.

    Skills/Knowledge Desired:

    * Knowledge and understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.

    * Experience with complex stored procedures and expressions in Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and bash scripting.

    * Knowledge of shop floor interfaces, PLC, TCP/IP, Serial

    * Understanding of reporting applications. IE: Crystal Reports, Power BI, Alteryx

    * Experienced in running mission-critical applications in high availability environments.

    * Familiar with help desk software and processes.

    * Knowledgeable in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

    * Willing to travel, occasionally.

    * Bonus Skill: Have used and/or have supporting Kiwiplan applications
