The Senior Financial Systems Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between IT and Finance/Shared Services-Finance, ensuring business needs are translated into effective IT solutions. This role is primarily focused on representing Finance in IT roadmap projects and is designed as a rotational opportunity for high-potential candidates where a return to a business function with enhanced systems knowledge is the optimal outcome.
Key Responsibilities
+ Act as Finance representative on IT roadmap initiatives, bridging business needs with technical solutions.
+ Analyze current financial processes and recommend improvements as part of the projects assigned, collaborating with business stakeholders to redesign and streamline financial processes.
+ Collaborate on functional specifications and finance requirements for system projects and enhancements.
+ Support integration and user acceptance testing efforts.
+ Work with team on communications and training materials for system implementations and process changes.
+ Contribute to operational change management activities across the organization.
+ Partner with production support teams to ensure smooth handoffs and ongoing support.
+ Lead or support multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
+ 5+ years of project experience in Finance or Financial Systems.
+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
+ Experience with SAP or other enterprise financial systems.
+ Familiarity with sales/margin and inventory processes.
+ Six Sigma experience preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $76,000.00 - $98,500.00
