This team partners closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and excited to make a difference in this southern San Diego community

The Speech Pathologist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. Performs competencies as outlined in unit specific competency assessment tools. Demonstrates age specific care as established for area and job title.

*$4K New Hire Incentive, $3K Relocation incentive if moving from 100 miles.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met

Requirements:

* Licensed or Pending license as a Speech Language Pathologist in California

* BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association.

* Certificate or Pending Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) by ASHA.

Preferred Experience:

* At least 1 year of Acute Care experience

* Proficient at conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
