• Loan Servicing Specialist

    TEKsystems (Middletown, CT)


    Position Summary:

    The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely servicing of consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans. This includes processing payments, maintaining loan records, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    + Process loan payments, payoffs, advances, and adjustments.

    + Maintain and update loan records in the servicing system.

    + Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding loan accounts.

    + Monitor and manage escrow accounts, insurance, and tax payments.

    + Prepare and process loan documentation, including releases and modifications.

    + Perform quality control checks to ensure data accuracy.

    + Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other departments.

    + Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

    + Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or business preferred.

    + 2+ years of experience in loan servicing or a related banking role.

    + Knowledge of loan documentation, servicing systems, and regulatory requirements.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan servicing software.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
