    TEKsystems (Sioux Falls, SD)


    We're Hiring: Data Center Operations Technician | On-site in Ellendale, ND | Day and Night shifts available (lodging/travel can be discussed)

     

    Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for hardware, Linux systems, and keeping mission-critical infrastructure running smoothly? We’re looking for a Data Center Operations Technician to join our team and help maintain the reliability, performance, and security of our data center environments.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Ensure availability and reliability of data center services

    + Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues

    + Perform root cause analysis of failures and implement solutions

    + Assemble, install, and maintain server and networking equipment

    + Develop scripts to automate updates and maintenance tasks

    + Maintain inventory and documentation

    + Train internal teams and provide technical support

    + Occasionally travel to other data centers as needed

    What You Bring:

    + Experience with computer hardware (troubleshooting, assembling)

    + Familiarity with Linux operating systems

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations (with reasonable accommodations)

    + Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills

    + Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including on-call and after-hours support

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $45.00/hr.
