Position Summary

Days & Hours: Depending on work function, must be flexible to work 8 or 10-hour shifts as assigned.

Pay Rate- $22.75

Essential Functions :  Operations Technicians may be assigned by the Company to perform all aspects of work within the Street/Utility Job Family including, but not limited to:

+ Completing all phases of core utility work regarding customer service and meter and gas pressure regulator installations.

+ Conducting leak investigations and responding to emergencies of any nature.

+ Installing, repairing, and maintaining distribution mains and services.

+ Operating mechanical equipment.

+ Other duties as defined by the CBA for the Street/Utility Job Family.

Qualifications

Required Background:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ All applicants must pass pre-employment hands on assessment testing.

+ A valid NJ Driver’s License

Required Skills:

+ Must be available for standby responsibilities and emergency work when required.

This is a DOT-covered position and will be subject to random drug screening.

Work location(s) may vary based on language as defined in the CBA.

Step 1 - 22.75 USD
