Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Inside Plant Data Center Technician to join our infrastructure team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with deep expertise in networking systems, physical infrastructure, and security technologies. The technician will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the data center’s internal plant systems, ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Network Infrastructure Support Install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment. Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve connectivity issues. Support Layer 1 and Layer 2 network operations within the data center. Structured Cabling Design, install, and manage structured cabling systems (Cat6, fiber optics, coaxial). Label, test, and certify cable runs to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain cable management and documentation for all installations. Security Systems Install and maintain access control systems, surveillance cameras, and intrusion detection systems. Collaborate with security teams to ensure physical and logical security compliance. Perform routine audits and testing of security infrastructure. Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Support the deployment and maintenance of DAS for enhanced wireless coverage. Conduct signal testing and optimization for cellular and RF systems. Coordinate with carriers and vendors for DAS integration and upgrades. General Data Center Operations Monitor environmental conditions (power, cooling, humidity) and respond to alerts. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on infrastructure systems. Document work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory records.Qualifications 3+ years of experience in data center or telecom infrastructure roles. Strong understanding of networking protocols and hardware. Proficiency in structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA). Experience with DAS installation and RF signal testing tools. Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus. Panduit, lebaton or other vendor ceritfiations.like Comscope would be great to have, Licensed in Low Voltage BISCI ceritfied Tech. -looking Level 2-cable pulling. server devices. asap. Schedule-Monday to Friday-7 am to 5 pm Drivers. 5 security 5 DAS, networking knowledge

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
