    Job Title: Bench Scientist

     

    Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

     

    Type: Contract

    Overview

    Our client is seeking a motivated scientist to join the Molecular Profiling & Bioconjugation group within BioMedicine Design. This role focuses on developing innovative protein biotherapeutics, with an emphasis on hands-on bioconjugation, purification, and characterization of protein-based molecules.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform bioconjugation reactions and related laboratory experiments.

    + Generate, purify, and characterize protein bioconjugates.

    + Apply analytical and purification techniques such as chromatography and mass spectrometry.

    + Maintain accurate experimental records and data summaries.

    + Present findings clearly using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

    + Plan and execute experiments independently after training.

    Qualifications

    + BA/BS in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology

    + 0-2 years of research experience.

    + Hands-on experience with standard laboratory techniques and protein handling.

    + Familiarity with bioconjugation methods and associated analytical techniques.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    + Effective communication and data presentation skills.
