Compensation: $80000 - $120000 annually

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

15-20% bonus incentive

Work hours: 6a-230p with OT mandatory as necessary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations. The ideal person will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, improving performance, and driving strategic initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Plan, direct, and coordinate daily operations to meet business goals

+ Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics

+ Analyze workflow, identify areas for process improvement, and implement operational strategies

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

+ Lead, train, and supervise operational staff to ensure a productive and motivated team.

+ Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues, improve processes and keep overtime to a minimum

+ Implement and monitor lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives

+ Prepare and present reports on operational performance, KPIs, and other metrics to senior management

+ Address and resolve other operational challenges promptly

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management OR current experience (minimum 3 years) in operations management.

+ Current to date leadership role that is managing a team of direct reports (more than 3).

+ Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC operations, and blueprint reading

+ Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

+ Preferred previous ISO/FDA experience (including audits)

+ Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

+ Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and project management software

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

+ Preferred certification with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies

+ Familiarity with ERP systems

+ Strong with Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel including pivot tables, etc.)

+ Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience

Working Conditions:

+ Some travel may be required (roughly 5%)

+ Manufacturing facility with exposure to machine noise, lubricants and shop floor conditions

+ Ability to walk, stand, occasionally lift 75 pounds, and moving heavier carts
