Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled **Tooling Quality Technician** to join our quality team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tooling through comprehensive inspections and precision measurement techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), a strong understanding of tooling specifications, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct tooling inspections using visual checks, 3D scanning, CMM, and other precision gauges
+ Interpret tooling prints and specifications accurately
+ Provide CMM programming, operation, and training support to manufacturing personnel
+ Maintain Quality Room and CMM equipment
+ Assist with Calibration, Non-conformance, Quality Communications, and Final Approval processes
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Experience with CMM programming and operation
+ Familiarity with tooling and quality inspection methods
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a forklift safely
+ Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate’s Degree or Metrology certifications
+ 3+ years of CMM experience
+ Proficiency with Mastercam, CMM Manager, Polyworks, and/or SolidWorks
+ Experience in full tool build programs
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
+ Certified Journeyman Tool Maker
