    Job Description

    We’re seeking interns with a focus in computer science/software engineering/information systems or cybersecurity to join our summer internship program for 2026.

     

    If selected, you will join our one of our divisions that specialize in delivering world-class software and information technology solutions to our customers located throughout the United States and Europe.

     

    We are seeking candidates for our IT-oriented intern positions in Springfield, IL. Applicants must be willing and able to start temporary, full-time work at our HQ locations beginning in mid-May 2026 and will work until August 2026. This is a paid internship, and temporary housing may be available.

     

    You will work side-by-side on actual projects with our talented IT mentors. You will enjoy our casual work environment where we encourage creative collaboration with an emphasis on a healthy work/life balance.

    Applicant Requirements:

    We are looking for candidates pursuing Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, or similar IT degree or with equivalent on the job experience. You must have completed at least two years of undergraduate classes, including at least four courses related to computer science, computer/software engineering, or other technically related STEM classes and including at least one semester of programming classes. Or you must have at least one year of experience working in an IT-related position.

     

    You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA, no sponsorship is available. Effective public speaking and interpersonal communications skills will make you a stronger candidate. We need interns who are self-motivated and can work independently yet can also work collaboratively as part of a team.

    We have a variety of IT intern roles in:

    + Software Development (General and Mainframe)

    + Applications Development

    + Cybersecurity

    + Hosting Technician

    + Systems Engineering

    + Network Consultant

    + Business Analyst

     

    Upon receipt of your application, you will have the opportunity to identify your interest level in the available roles.

    Success Keys:

    The key to your success in this position will be your ability to quickly transfer your textbook and classroom knowledge of information technology into performing hands-on work with real world business applications and solutions. Self-motivation, persistence, effective communication skills, and attention to detail are also critical to success in this position.

    This internship is a temporary, full-time internship for summer 2026 with a pay rate of $18/hour. Internships have the potential to lead to permanent positions based on the future needs of the organization. Temporary housing may be available.
