Job Description
Sales Intern - Summer Internship Program
We are seeking Sales/Business students for our 2026 summer internship program. Interns will be competitively selected to join our Software Sales team where they will support account executives and sales leadership in our Enterprise Output Management (EOM) division. Sales interns will gain exposure to the full enterprise sales process for our industry leading products.
We offer hands-on experience in a casual, yet professional work environment, making it an excellent place to learn and grow. Interns will be based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Illinois (temporary housing may be available). Applicants must be available for full-time work from mid-May to mid-August 2026.
Core Responsibilities:
As a Sales Intern, you will contribute to a range of projects, including:
+ Conduct market and prospect research .
+ Manage data within our CRM system.
+ Assist with preparing presentations and proposals .
+ Contributing to pipeline development activities .

Success in our intern positions requires translating textbook knowledge into practical, real-world applications. Key qualities include self-motivation, persistence, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. These attributes will help you make a significant impact on our team while gaining valuable experience for your future.
Applicant Requirements:
Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Business, Professional Sales, Business Administration, Communications or have one year of professional work experience in a similar field.
+ Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework, including four courses in Business, Professional Sales, Business Administration, Communications or have at least one year of professional work experience in a similar field.
+ Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
+ Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of collaborating effectively as part of a team.
+ Having IT-related coursework or experience will make you a stronger candidate.
+ Permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer (no visa sponsorships available).
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong business acumen, experience with AI tools, an outgoing personality, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in technology sales or business development.
Organization Structure and Interfaces:
As a Sales Intern, you’ll support Account Executives and Sales leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Channel Partners, to deepen your understanding of our software solutions and how they address client’s output management needs. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to develop analytical, communication, and sales strategy skills in a professional, results-driven environment.
This is a temporary, full-time internship for summer 2026, with a pay rate of $18/hour. Internships have the potential to lead to permanent positions based on the future needs of the organization.
