    We are looking for a Director of NAMER Global Sales Compensation Operations leader, responsible for leading the end-to-end operational administration and continuous improvement of our sales compensation operations across North America. This leader will drive operational excellence in compensation plan execution, compliance, and payment accuracy while driving innovation, intelligence, and business enablement across the compensation lifecycle.

     

    As a key leadership role within our Global Sales Compensation Operations leadership team, this leader oversees all NAMER Global Sales Compensation operational processes, from data validations and pay file submissions to audits and exception management, while building a new Intelligence & innovation capability that transforms data and insights into scalable solutions.

     

    The ideal candidate is both an operational expert and a strategic thinker comfortable with the details of day-to-day execution, yet skilled in connecting insights to action. This leader must have a proven track record of managing end-to-end operations in a fast paced, dynamic business environment. Collaboration with cross-functional leaders across GTM Operations, Finance, HR, and Systems will be essential to implement innovative operational improvements and leading Sales Compensation practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage & lead the day-to-day execution of all NAMER sales compensation processes, including plan administration, payroll readiness, payfile submissions, data validations, and audits.

    + Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and global compensation policies.

    + Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, issue management, and root cause analyses (RCAs) to drive continuous improvement.

    + Own NAMER operational documentation and playbook governance to ensure all core processes are current, standardized, and auditable.

    + Establish and lead the Innovation & Intelligence function focused on driving automation, data transparency, and operational insights across the compensation ecosystem. Lead experimentation, pilots, and proof-of-concepts that modernize the way compensation operations is managed and analyzed.

    + Develop, coach and mentor high-performing individuals and teams to drive success and foster professional growth. Serve as the regional NAMER operational leader for cross-functional collaboration with GTM Ops, Finance, HR Compensation, Legal, and Product/Systems partners.

    + Act as a thought partner to senior business leaders, simplifying complex operational topics into clear insights and recommendations.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional partners to influence policy and program design through the lens of operational excellence.

    + Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying pain points and driving initiatives that enhance scalability and compliance.

    + Monitor operational metrics to proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and scale.

    + Ensure readiness for internal and external audits by maintaining regional documentation that supports control effectiveness and audit trail completeness.

    + Build operational playbooks and best-practice frameworks that can be scaled globally.

    Basic Qualifications

    + 12+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations or Finance roles working in a cross-functional team environment

    + 10+ years of experience in Sales Compensation operations or administration, plan design, ICM implementation or business process management

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Possess a growth mindset and acts as a change agent to drive improvements across the compensation ecosystem

    + Ability to strongly collaborate and positively influence cross-functional leaders and stakeholders who are part of the incentive compensation management process, including sales leadership, finance, operations, systems, human resources, and Legal

    + Possess strong people and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assertively support a dynamic sales organization.

    + Background in technical consulting, solutions management, engagement management, business process management (BPM) and product management.

    + Demonstrated experience with change management in a fast-paced, technology-centric organization.

    + "Get things done” mentality, with the ability to lean in and partner with all business levels to make decisions and deliver solutions and desired outcomes.

    + Proven project management skills and in-depth knowledge of sales compensation mechanics, operations, procedures, and processes.

    + Robust planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables to tight timelines.

    + Ability to logically and efficiently structure solutions to ambiguous problems, conduct impact analysis, identify key insights, and recommend an action plan

    + Ability to lean in and partner with all business levels to make decisions and deliver solutions that meet desired outcomes.

    + Ability to align business challenges to sources of data and develop required analysis, key insights and recommend actions.

    + Advanced analytical and modeling skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data to present concisely to senior sales management.

    + Hard working, responsive, and communicative with a strong attention to detail.

    + Willingness and inclination to mentor and help others grow.

    + Ability to work across offices and regions on global projects.

    + Familiarity with the sales cycle and CRM experience: SFDC, Dynamics, Anaplan etc.

    + Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Power BI, Power Automate, Visio, Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot).

    LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

     

    The pay range for this role is $166,000-$269,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
