Support students and staff while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting. Bettendorf Community School District is looking for caring, dependable individuals to serve as Guest Paraeducators on an as-needed basis.

Position:Guest Paraeducator

Hours:Varies – Filling in on an as-needed basis

Rate of Pay:$14.50/hour

Required Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Applicants must have valid U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an active work visa.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

+ The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

+ Strong communication skills with students, staff, and teachers

+ A courteous and respectful demeanor when interacting with students, staff, and the public

+ The ability to follow lesson plans and assist students in understanding content

+ A supportive and flexible approach in a variety of classroom settings

+ Discretion and the ability to handle confidential matters appropriately
