Position Summary:
+ **Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4pm.**
+ **100% on-site**
Catalent’s 206,878-square-foot Philadelphia-area facility serves as the global Center of Excellence for Clinical Supply Packaging, offering GMP secondary packaging and clinical labeling services. The site provides manual to fully automated packaging solutions, including temperature-controlled options for sensitive products. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing warehouse processes, including replenishment of supplies and distribution materials across buildings. You’ll support production staging, returns, and destruction activities—ensuring materials flow efficiently and teams have what they need to deliver on time. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced GMP environment while contributing directly to the success of our manufacturing operations.
The Role:
+ Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of union warehouse personnel to ensure proper response to work demands in a productive, cost effective and timely manner.
+ Responsible for ensuring all jobs are pulled and pre-staged for production in a timely manner.
+ Attends daily production meetings, and prioritizes workload based upon the production schedule.
+ Supports the day-to-day activities of the Clinical Services Decatur Road Warehouse union personnel including the receiving, inventory control, maintenance, and documentation and communications functions.
+ Generates regular reports as to physical inventory cycle counts, staging issues, and material usage reports.
+ Responsible for receiving controlled drugs and entering into the DEA cage and vault or returns database.
+ Documents all pertinent transactions both manually and using computerized inventory systems.
+ Partner with other functions at the site to ensure there is a clear understanding of inventory control processes.
+ Perform GEMBA walks and spot checks to ensure inventory is showing in correct location, storage area is neat and tidy and procedures are being followed.
+ Lead training of other departments and other inventory control team members as needed. Acting supervisor when supervisor is not present.
+ Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate:
+ High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment required; experience in a GMP or FDA-regulated industry preferred.
+ Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, particularly Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems; JD Edwards or other ERP system experience a plus.
+ Knowledge of standard warehouse operations, including GEMBA walks, supervision of junior staff, and cycle counts preferred.Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations preferred, experience with exporting clinical trial materials a plus.
