Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in the issuance, maintenance, or reinstatement of licenses; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Examines and analyzes data submitted by and/or on behalf of each applicant for licensure for accuracy, authenticity, and completeness of factual information to document the determination of
eligibility and qualification for licensure.
+ Advises applicants and/or licensees of the status of their application and/or requests relative to the requisite information for further disposition of the same.
+ Receives, analyzes, and verifies the authenticity of diplomas and licenses submitted by applicants, licensees, institutions, and/or other licensing authorities as well as federal and state documents authorizing work in the United States and/or in the State (i.e., J-1 Visas, naturalization papers, licenses).
+ Reviews the application to determine if requisite licensure fees have been received by the agency.
+ Determines when licensure files can be forwarded to the master file room and takes action accordingly.
+ Explains federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, standards, and agency policies to officials, staff, licensees, the public, and/or providers of services and interprets and applies the same.
+ Assists in the preparation and dissemination of reports of statistical data, official reports, and/or information regarding continuing education, compliance.
+ Interprets and explains statutes, agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of continuing
education to the public.
Provides input and recommendations to the Supervisor on policies and/or procedure development
