Overview

THE ROLE:

This Developer (COTS) will collaborate proactively with Applications analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component composes and solutions. Ideal candidate must show deep technical skills, own application maintenance, collaborate effectively, and offer support.

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

+ Proficient in Software development lifecycles, namely Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and AIM Methodology.

+ Will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, customizing, and integrating Oracle e-Business Suite and Salesforce applications with other systems, and providing ongoing support and future enhancements of those solutions.

+ To work with team members as needed to scope, design, develop, test, implement, support, and be responsible for coding and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements and projects

+ Achieve performance targets for responding to and resolving production support issues within agreed timelines.

+ Invent technical solutions for specified needs, building components like extensions, views, customizations, reports, and workflows alone or in a team.

+ Design and develop high-quality software on Force.com platform

+ Performance Improvement in the Applications environment. Tuning code, Application health check, Application improvement proposals and implementations.

+ Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control, testing, and migration standards.

+ Understand the key integration points, work multi-functionally across different business processes, and address the challenges faced by business teams.

+ Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution. Resolve problems, pinpoint their root cause, and apply any needed corrective measures to ensure permanent resolution

+ Serve as a mentor to less experienced Application Developers.

+ Create an inclusive setting that promotes mutual knowledge exchange

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

+ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

+ Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

+ Excellent technical skills with Major ERP applications such as Oracle and Salesforce

+ Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Workflow, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, Oracle Development Tools.

+ Proficiency in Oracle Applications R12 and Oracle Fusion

+ Understanding of different interfacing mechanisms, Web Services, ETL, etc

+ Solid understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces etc.), including knowledge of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them.

+ Hands-on software troubleshooting experience and Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products

+ Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.

+ Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle and ERP API’s

+ In-depth knowledge of application code registration procedures

+ Good solid understanding in Unix/Linux shell scripting

+ Ability to identify system impact for small- and large-scale initiatives

+ Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS Applications and Salesforce, building highly available, scalable, and secure systems.

+ Coordinate migrations/implementation of changes between the different Application environments (i.e., Development, Test, and Production).

+ Expertise in the Interfaces, conversion and data migration between different Oracle ERP modules, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce and 3rd party applications.

+ Experience working in a DevOps Framework.

+ Expert knowledge in lightning component development, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

+ Expert knowledge in designing and building applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

+ Experience creating RESTful and SOAP based web services in Salesforce platform

+ Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling, including Salesforce.com SOQL, SOSL query language

+ Expert knowledge of MVC concepts.

+ Experience designing and developing applications using OOP concepts and design patterns.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment

+ Passion for measuring and improving code.

+ Exceptional communication, interpersonal, multitasking and presentation skills

+ Demonstrated understanding of and experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API

+ Experience using ANT based deployment

+ Experience using the Force.com data loader and handling data migration assignments.

+ Experience with CI / CD concepts and platforms/tools

+ Experience with development tools such as VS Code & GIT

Experience:

+ 5+ years of proven experience in designing and building modern enterprise/large-scale applications.

+ 5+ years of experience with SQL (advanced queries, tuning) and PL/SQL

+ 5+ years of experience in Oracle Application Development and Oracle Development Tools (solid understanding of Web Applications)

+ 5+ years development experience in an R12 Oracle Applications environment is a must, including knowledge in using Oracle Application Object Library (AOL/FND)

+ Good experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting

+ 5+ years of professional IT/Engineering experience required with demonstrated development and design experience (Java, JavaScript, AJAX experience preferred)

+ 5+ years’ experience in Force.com, Lightning components development (Aura/LWC), and Apex programming language (Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I required, SF Platform Dev II / Marketing Cloud / Service Cloud certification preferred)

+ Exposure to Salesforce Community Clouds.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
