The Woodford Reserve Distillery is an interactive, consumer experience designed to showcase the history and beauty of the Woodford Reserve Brand. We will give our consumers a look into how Woodford Reserve comes to life and each team member will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and authenticity of this experience as they interact with our consumers throughout their visit to our Homeplace.
Meaningful Work From Day One:
Responsible for day to day coordination of Visitor Center activities to ensure all guests are receiving a super premium and hospitality focused experience. Exudes hospitality by creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests. Actively collaborates with a diverse workforce of hospitality team members, permanent as well as seasonal temporary employees.
What You Can Expect:
Visitor Center Oversight:
+ Oversee daily activities to ensure seamless guest experiences, including scheduled events and group tours.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact in absence of management, resolving guest concerns and operational issues with professionalism and poise.
+ Manage Master Distiller Bottle Signings, Food Truck pop-up experiences, and other events including inventory, scheduling, and execution.
+ Lead daily and monthly reporting, sharing insights across departments.
+ Align team efforts with Homeplace goals and strategic priorities, partnering with the Homeplace Manager to keep operations on track.
Guest Services:
+ Provide weekend and holiday leadership support, especially when Guest Services or Retail Managers are unavailable.
+ Collaborate with the Guest Services Manager to update tour paths, develop SOPs, and ensure brand consistency.
+ Educate guests on the Woodford Reserve brand and history, with the ability to lead distillery tours.
+ Support the Personal Selection Program through setup, communication, and hosting.
Team Training and SOP Development
+ Model exceptional hospitality in every interaction.
+ Lead new hire orientation, coordinating uniforms, security access, SOPs, STAR training, and partnering with HR and Safety teams.
+ Monitor training progress and communicate gaps to leadership.
Special Projects + Administration
+ Participate in weekly meetings with the Homeplace Manager to address personnel and operational matters.
+ Ensure compliance with legal, risk management, and alcohol responsibility standards.
+ Lead special projects and provide administrative support as needed.
+ Organize team outings, lunches, and engagement activities.
+ Coordinate transportation logistics, including buses, vans, and drivers.
+ Support additional Visitor Center and Homeplace needs as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
+ Minimum 4 years in hospitality, tourism, and/or meeting planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including one year of supervisory experience or leading a team
+ Proven ability to lead in a team-based environment and manage cross-functional relationships.
+ Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
+ Ability to coach and motivate a team with agility and adaptability.
+ Comfortable interacting across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
+ Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
+ Must be 21+ years old and physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
+ Availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and overtime as needed.
+ Regular physical activity is required.
